Problem: A manufacturer of biological microscopy products asked us to develop the prototype of the next generation of a DMD based zero-exposure microscopy product. In addition to the original capabilities of controlling the DMD exposure via a gigabit downstream link to the optics head, it needed to leverage convolution neural network approaches to blood cell identification. Our approach leveraged the capabilites of the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ architecture implementing a YoloV4 deep neural network. |
