Problem:

Robotic systems have been used in factories for decades. The future holds great promise and challenges for mobile robots that will gradually takeover many tasks done by humans. Success of such systems relies upon a synergy of machine vision, neural networks, state estimation/inertial sensing and navigation, communications, battery technologies, and the solution of complex dynamical control systems. We have developed proof-of-concept algorithm testbed to explore and solve the complex synergies.
